  1. “Drive, Determination and Patience”, eh? Has there ever been a successful society or culture in the history of the world whose watchwords were Laziness, Irresolution and Impatience? Thought not. So where exactly was the distinctive faith-based insight in this morning’s offering?

  2. American pioneers had the drive, determination and patience to conquer all the native American territories and then to make it compulsory for those conquered to be force fed the Christian faith. Those who booed Sacheen Littlefeather’s speech at the Oscars would have been minded that she came from a group of people, not many decades before, described as savages (lazy, irresolute and impatient?) by those conquering Christian Europeans. I wonder what Akhandadhi Das thinks his gods’ plan is for America?
Having been to see the brilliant Book of Mormon recently I was wondering when was the last time there was a Mormon speaker on TFTD? Has there ever been one? I’d love to hear their thoughts on the history and future of the peoples of that continent.
