It’s the End of May. The new leader must not be a strutting peacock like [insert name here]. They must be humble, unlike [insert name here]. They must be team players, not egotists like [insert name here]. Let’s pray for integrity, wisdom and humility, like [insert name here].

I’ll be Voting LibDem Today
Happy European Parliament election Day everybody!
Those in favour of Brexit are flocking to Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party. If Nigel pops up in Southend then I might very well invite him for a milkshake. (Apparently he was trapped in his battle bus yesterday after remoaners, armed with semi-automatic milkshakes, including some of the most dangerous flavours, were spotted by highly trained police officers.)
For me there is only one issue in this election: Brexit. Normal left and right politics are suspended as both the Labour and Conservative parties are hopelessly paralysed by the issue. Of the parties that unambiguously support a second referendum, the LibDems seem to be in the lead, so they’re who I’ll put my tick against.
Long live the United States of Europe. (And I include Britain in that.)
