Sikhs are fearful of the return of the Taliban. Sikhs were persecuted in Afghanistan in previous centuries too. And Hindus got persecuted as well. All by a mysterious other religion whose name nobody can ever remember when we’re talking about religious persecution here on TFTD.

In the U.S. covid vaccines have become politicised. This is exactly the same as the book of Ecclesiastes. This states quite clearly that covid vaccines being politicised is a bad thing. I have a lot of sympathy for a Foreign Secretary who doesn’t want to leave the beach in order to deal with something as trivial as the Taliban retaking Afghanistan. We vicars have to have our leisure interrupted like this all the time. But Jesus had to do this too you know. So I suppose it’s just another cross that we vicars have to bear. It’s tough being a vicar.
