No one can see the future. Except the prophets of the Invisible Magic Friend. They can tell us exactly what the Invisible Magic Friend has in store for us as a result of the virus.

Faced with this terrible virus, which the Invisible Magic Friend did not invent, people remain positive and act together as a community because of a Sikh thing. So aren’t we lucky that Sikhism’s around just now.
What’s Happening in Sweden?
The following graph shows daily covid-19 deaths per 10 million of the population (averaged over 7 days) for USA (blue), UK (green) and Spain (red). Although the peak numbers are very different (the left hand scale is logarithmic), the broad shape of the graphs are roughly similar. South Korea is shown in grey for comparison.

What I find interesting though is when we add Sweden to the list. It’s graph is also shown in grey.

Sweden has implemented a far less stringent lockdown than other western countries. By all accounts, daily life in Sweden is continuing much as normal. Yet, so far at least, Sweden’s deaths from covid-19 are not noticeably worse than the worst affected countries. (They are worse than their Nordic neighbours though, as well as Germany.)
We’re all hoping that the UK and USA are at, or hopefully past, their peaks. It remains to be seen if Sweden is on the same course. But if it is, then it may hold important lessons for how the lockdown can be eased elsewhere.
Keep an eye on what happens in Sweden over the next few weeks.

Captain Tom Moore has raised millions for the NHS. He’s a hero, just like Jesus, who did not invent the virus. There are lots of heroes, struggling to overcome the virus. Jesus is very busy doing other things at the moment.
Updated Daily Death Graphs

I’ve updated the graph page that shows the daily deaths for each country with a major covid-19 outbreak to include more countries.
The main difference between this and most other sources on the web, is that graphs are shown per 10 million of a country’s population. This makes it much easier to compare one country with another.
