Is slavery a bad thing? That’s the wrong question. A better question is, should we dwell on the past?
The Book of Deuteronomy, with it’s clear rules for who can be enslaved, for how long and how they should be treated, tells us that we should remember the past, live in the present, and think about the future. So there, the correct question solved.
