Leicester Cathedral was once a place of worship of the, wrong, false, god, Mithras. Christianity and the Mithras myth, which is totally made up and not at all believable, share many of the same features. Although Christianity is not totally made up and is very believable.

It’s hard to say sorry. Sometimes we worry about legal liability if we apologise. We Christians don’t do that. Because of our moral superiority, we would never be involved in anything as sordid as covering up crimes, trying to minimise legal or financial penalties, or ignoring victims.

The news is just terrible. There’s no good news. It just gets worse and worse. Everything is just so dreadful, depressing, wearisome, uninspiring and unremittingly awful.

So how to keep cheerful? Simple, ignore this world and immerse yourself in invisible magic stuff, which definitely exists. The Hindu scripture says so.
