An Asian woman has won an Oscar. Which brings me to Sikh New Year. Happy Sikh New Year everybody!

Most Sikhs don’t realise that this is Sikh New Year because the calendar changed. This change to the Sikh calendar, that most Sikhs don’t know about, is really, really important to you because of its obvious connection to the Oscars.

I, for one, am looking forward to the next twelve months. They’ll be every bit as brilliant as the last twelve months.

The government wants to Stop The Boats. Jesus says Christians should welcome refugees, but he didn’t live in a village in rural England. I’m sure he did’t mean that WE should welcome refugees.
