And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, quantum mechanics.

Quantum mechanics is not depressing, but everything else is. It’s a bit like the Invisible Magic Friend destroying Job’s life for a bet. And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, Happy Guy Fawkes day everybody! (There’s really nothing in the news that would benefit from some moral reflection this morning.) Aren’t the fireworks pretty. But they’re over so quickly.

The prophet Isaiah correctly prophesied this in his famous prophecy: “the grass withereth, the flower fadeth”. (Isaiah either spoke in 17th cent. English or had a very pronounced lisp.)

Akhandadhi Das, a Vaishnav Hindu teacher and theologian

Happy Diwali everyone! Now that the Invisible Magic Friend’s Holy Virus is completely gone, we can celebrate properly and gather together with strangers in confined places and cough all over them.

Diwali is all about Ram rescuing Sita, which by a remarkable coincidence, is exactly like COP26 and saving the planet.
