Today, I want to talk to you about the 39 people killed in a container lorry while being smuggled as modern slaves into Britain.

No of course I don’t, I want to talk to you about Jesus, but those 39 victims will make a great excuse.

Do you look down on and despise the people who clean your car, or paint your nails, or fix your coffee? We, and by “we” I do of course mean “you”, all do.

Jesus never looked down on the person who painted his nails. Instead, he cured them. Wasn’t Jesus just great.
