There was a brief time of hope for peace in the Holy Land before all the Holy People started killing one another again.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, isn’t my Big Book of Magic Stuff just brilliant. It sets out the laws of Karma, which span generations. This is proved by the fact that people go on fighting battles that were started in their ancestors’ time.

In order to stop many of the world’s seemingly intractable problems, all we have to do is to recognise that our enemies are human beings. Then we will all sit down together with mutual love and respect. Simples.

It’s why we Hindus are at peace with everyone.

There are many grass roots peace initiatives in Israel and Palestine, such as The Parents Circle. Unfortunately, they do not have the loudest voices at the moment.

And there’s just time to squeeze in a references to prayers and psalms, because what the region really, really needs is more religion.
