And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, Pope Leo. Isn’t he great. The previous Pope, Pope Francis, was brilliant too. Pope Leo has decided to be brilliant, just like Pope Francis was. Christians, by which I mean proper Christians, i.e. Catholics, think Pope Leo is brilliant, just like Pope Francis.

And that is the end of the Big News today from a Faith Perspective. Isn’t Pope Leo just fantastic.

Politicians are complaining about judges not doing what politicians tell them to. This raises constitional questions about the balance between a democratically elected government and an independent judiciary.

To find out where this balance lays, we ask Jesus. Jesus gives us the parable of the Good Samaritan. This parable fits so perfectly with this complex constitutional question that I’m surprised more people haven’t referred to it. It tells us all we need to know.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, it’s 15 years since Instagram started.

People of Faith use social media. And there’s a painting of Guru Nanak somewhere. Wasn’t he great.

We’re all bombarded by images on social media. But what if we stopped looking at our phones and looked at the womderful world around us instead?
