And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, there’s a Big Jewish Festival today. Happy Day That the Invisible Magic Friend Gave Us the Ten Commandments (first time) everybody!

These can be summarised as: worship me. Don’t worship anybody else. Worship me a lot. Devote a whole day to worshipping me. In fact, use the only day off you’re allowed to worship me. Tell me how brilliant I am. Don’t broadcast Thought For the Day live on one of my worshipping days, but pre-record it on a digital medium (the meaning of this will become clear in a few thousand years). Oh, and don’t kill, steal, or sleep with the wrong people, unless I tell you to.

At that moment of divine revelation. All creatures, humans, animals (even the unclean ones) fish, bacteria. They all experienced consciousness. Although there’s some doubt about viruses.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, there’s a really good film on called “The Salt Path”. It depicts two people who lost everything and decided to go for a long pointless walk.

People go for long pointless walks in the Big Book of Magic Stuff. Yes, long pointless walks are that important. Although sometimes they go for walks because they want to get somewhere. Going for walks to get somewhere are important too.

Christians go on pilgrimages which are long pointless walks. In fact Christian long pointless walks are so important that you can forget the people in the film that I mentioned in the start. I’m going to talk about Christian pilgrims on long pointless walks. They’re so much more interesting than some random people in a film. Christian pilgrim long pointless walks sometimes have an end where they give large amounts of their money to the place of pilgrimage. What with it being so very holy and everything and worth making a long pointless walk to.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, language. Isn’t it great. And English is one of the best. Words matter.

Words get mentioned in the Big Book of Magic Stuff. Yes, words are that important.

We must be careful what we say. Our words can affect others, but they also affect the speaker. Ou character can begin to reflect what we say.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, there’s a Big Christian Festival today. Happy Ascension Day everybody!

On this day, the Temporarily Visible Third of the Invisible Magic Friend, who had been temporarily sacrificed to himself to save us from himself, went up into the sky on a cloud to heaven, which is up there in the sky.

Of course, nowadays, with modern science, we know that heaven is not up there. And since the Big Book of Magic Stuff never lies about these things, Jesus must have asphyxiated, froze, and then been incinerated as he fell back from orbit.

Which brings me to global warming. Isn’t it terrible.
