SS Cyg Goes Bang, More Veil and the Wizard

SS Cyg, the white and red dwarves, orbiting each other only half the distance between us and the moon, have gone bang. Still waiting for T Cor Bor to do the same. I’ve been watching it since April last year.

Probably my final image of the Veil nebula in Cygnus.

I’m still missing some bits at the top and bottom, but I’m not sure if I’ll manage to get those this year.

And finally, the Wizard Nebula.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, the wheel. Just think how many people have been killed by things on wheels. It’s been all downhill since it was invented. Also microplastics. Jesus got really angry about microplastics. But don’t despair at all the terrible news. If you have a religion, preferably the right religion, then you have a purpose in life.

The Bank of England is expected to cut interest rates today in order to promote growth. More economic growth means more of everything for everyone. Jesus never mentioned economic growth and therefore has absolutely nothing relevant to contribute to the debate. But I’ll mention him anyway and note several of the things that he did talk about.
