The Office of Students has said that students must expect a diversity of views at university, some of which they will find shocking. Parliament has a diversity of views. It contains some who think we should be able to choose how we die, and others that think we should suffer right to the final breath because we deserve to.

Christians are very diverse too. East and West split over the nature of the Particularly Invisible Third of the Invisible Magic Friend. Protestant and Catholic split over the infallibleness of the Bishop of Rome. And other important theological differences have continued the splits ever since. But each sect mostly manages enough people to fill a room and declare that we are still One.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, I want to talk to you about global warming, the weather, the Natural History Museum and David Attenborough.

No, of course I don’t. There’s a Big Christian Festival today. Happy Feast of Corpus Christi everybody! Isn’t it just an amazing coincidence that the feast of Corpus Christi falls today, because it’s exactly the same as global warming, the weather, the Natural History Museum and David Attenborough.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, I’ve been upgraded. I’m no longer a simple Officer of the British Empire. I’m now a Commander of the British Empire! This is what you get for talking a lot about one of the Faith Clubs.

I went with my husband as a gay couple to The Palace. Yet around the world, gay rights are going backwards in many places, always spearheaded by religion. This includes my own religion, as well as some other well known religions whose name I have forgotten. Let’s see what religion has to say about it…

Israel and Iran are at war. In any conflict, good and evil, truth and lies, are portrayed in social media as absolutes. But the reality is often more nuanced. War happens after trust between nations and peoples break down.

If you cannot trust other people, you can always trust the Invisible Magic Friend. If there’s one thing Israel and Iran need right now, it’s more religion.
