And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, this Saturday, after 30 years, I’ll finish reading the Jewish Big Book of Magic Stuff. The reason for doing this is to keep questioning the text. Is any of it true? Does the Invisible Magic Friend actually exist? Would I have been better off reading another Big Book of Magic Stuff?

None of us have all the answers. It’s important to remain open minded, to keep asking questions. As this is Thought For The Day, this cannot be questioned.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, children. Aren’t they great. The Princess of Wales thinks so. By paying attention to children’s early years, the hope is that they won’t turn out to be psychopathic murderers. Well, it’s worth a try.

Jesus was great too. I’m sure if he’d thought to mention children’s early development he would have approved of doing something about it. He’s just SO relevant.

What is the right amount of political love? The Vice President, J.D. Vance, says love family, then community, then country, then Mexicans and Canadians. Rory Stewart, the former Tory cabinet minister, says love everybody. And he includes the EU in everybody.

Which of them is right? They both are. I hope that helps.

Which brings me to that whole Church of England sexual abuse thing. We need to learn to be as humble as we used to be. But on the plus side, everybody’s doing it and the Invisible Magic Friend will sort it all out in the end.
