This is where throwing a large can of Christianity on the fire is bound to make things better. We know how to grieve properly. In fact, despite believing in a happy, eternal, invisible magic afterlife, we still seem to grieve for the dead just like everybody else.

OK, it’s not technically a Sikh festival, but a Hindu one, but it’s still a Holy Faith Thing from India so it’ll do. Ah India, where the Gurus were from. So you see I still get to mention the Gurus, even when discussing a Holy Faith Thing from one the wrong religions, which I still deeply respect.
