Oh, and I’m going on a freebie to Iraq! But I don’t want to spend too much time on that. It’s not a holiday, it’s terribly serious. The role of the Church of England in Iraq should not be underestimated. It’s almost as important as it is here. Besides, I don’t want to spend too much time talking about me. After all, this isn’t about me is it? I don’t want to spend my time on Thought For The Day talking about me and my adventures in Iraq. That would somehow minimise the suffering of the people of Israel and Gaza. Especially since Iraq isn’t actually Israel or Gaza, although it’s hot and in the same general quadrant of the world.
