Many thousands have died or are missing in Gaza and Israel, causing untold suffering and grief. The ceasefire provides a rare glimmer of hope.

What’s religion got to do with this? Absolutely nothing you’ll be thinking. After all, Muslims and Jews are almost identical in their beliefs.

This is where throwing a large can of Christianity on the fire is bound to make things better. We know how to grieve properly. In fact, despite believing in a happy, eternal, invisible magic afterlife, we still seem to grieve for the dead just like everybody else.
