Surprisingly, there were a couple of hours of clear skies this week. I managed to improve a little on my Jupiter skills.

The four bright dots are the Galilean moons. Actually these are just placeholders. The real moons are very feint at this exposure. In order from left to right, Calisto, Europa, Io and Ganymede. That little dot, Ganymede, is twice the size of our moon!
Also managed to grab a picture of Bode’s galaxies using the Carl Zeiss lens. Although the colour seems a bit washed out in this one.
