The clouds did actually part last night. Just as the moon set, at about 1.30 am, there was a glorious starry show. Unfortunately, it didn’t last. Within minutes, the clouds rolled in again. I did manage to get one decent snap out of it though. This is taken with a fisheye lens (second hand, of course).

I’ve upped the contrast a bit. The glow on the horizon is a mix of light pollution and the light from the moon that is setting to the right of this picture.

Even the weather’s been gloomy lately. There’s weather in the Big Book of Magic Stuff. Yes, weather is THAT important. Meanwhile, we’ll do almost anything to avoid confronting climate change. Quoting from the Big Book of Magic Stuff should waste another couple of minutes.
