As a Christian Buddhist Christian, I’ve been trying to teach soldiers to be nicer.

Vladimir Putin, who is not a proper Christian, and not a Buddhist at all, is not very nice.

Jesus said to tie a millstone around the neck of anyone who harms a child. Or alternatively, move them to another parish.

Canon Dr Paula Gooder

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, silence. Isn’t it great.

I don’t suppose anyone’s ever mentioned this before. But just imagine pure silence. No noise. No one talking gibberish. No one spending two whole minutes telling you about Elijah, who definitely existed, and the joy of silence. Wouldn’t that be great? Just plain, simple silence. With no one holier-than-thou pontificating on the wonders of silence.
