An orangutan has been seen using a plant as medicine. I could use this story to explore how tools, language, learning, justice and empathy have all been found among other species, and how this is all part of the general evolutionary tool set of many social species and not a peculiarly human gift from the Invisible Magic Friend after all. But I won’t. Instead I’ll just say, isn’t nature great!
