And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, happy start of Ramadan everybody! Yes, it’s that time of year again when Muslims are even holier than you than normal.

The Invisible Magic Friend gave us the wrong calendar, so this moves about every year and doesn’t take into account the geographical latitude of people when it comes to the length of the fast.

Having studied all the world’s religions and concluded that Islam is definitely the right one, you know you can trust me when I tell you how brilliant it all is.

Happy Nearly Mothers Day everybody!

Except for mothers and children who have suffered tragedy, war, murder, kidnap. So tomorrow is not a time to be happy, it’s a time to be miserable. If only people would think of mothers who are suffering then the world would be kinder, more gentle, more peaceful and all round lovely.

Won’t someone please, please think of the mothers.
