Anti-Semitic incidents have increased five fold. A six year old Muslim boy was stabbed to death in Chicago. All these acts of violence are performed by people who don’t understand religion properly.

Sikhs get on with everybody. Along with the occasional people from other religions, we strive to bring together the vast numbers of people that religion has separated in the first place.

And in the Big News today from a Faith Perspective, I’ve been to the Holy Land, where I visited all the Holy Places. I talked to all sorts of Holy People, some of them of the wrong religion. There was a brief time of hope for peace in the Holy Land before all the Holy People started killing one another again.

In order to stop many of the world’s seemingly intractable problems, all we have to do is to recognise that our enemies are human beings. Then we will all sit down together with mutual love and respect. Simples.
