Happy 75th anniversary of the NHS everybody! Health care was terrible before the NHS. Aneurin Bevan, who was a Christian incidentally (which is nearly as good as being a Buddhist Christian like me), fought to create the NHS. Fighting to make things better is so important.
Which brings me to the Buddha who teaches that we should be content with the way things are, which is another way of saying fight to make them better. Or alternatively the Hebrew prophets. They were both great, weren’t they.
