Tomorrow is Remembrance Sunday. But don’t worry, all our dead will rise again. We hope. We’re not absolutely, 100%, definitely certain, but we certainly, definitely, absolutely hope they will, which is pretty much the same thing.

People are helping more. They feel a duty. As did those who died in the world wars.

Duty was invented by my Invisible Magic Friend and simply cannot be explained by us evolving as a social species.

The solution is more religion, specifically my religion. I can’t think of any problem that religion doesn’t make much better. My Invisible Magic Friend made the world perfect, with exactly the right amount of resources for the current world population. But we’ve ruined it all by not spreading it out evenly.
