The National Rejoin March

UPDATE – The National Rejoin March has been postponed as a mark of respect to Queen Elizabeth.

I’m going to try to do at least a little bit of the National Rejoin March on Saturday.

Yes, I know most people are sick of Brexit, there isn’t a cat’s chance in hell of either major party adopting this as policy, and even if they did, the EU would be in no mood to let us rejoin.

BUT

Nearly half the country voted to remain in the EU.
If the polls are to be believed then a majority now think leaving was wrong.
Brexit has been an absolute disaster for multiple industries, individuals and families.

I think it’s important to show the country and the EU that there are still a lot of us who object to losing our rights as European citizens. If nothing else, it’ll annoy the hell out of brexiteers.

Aren’t things terrible. Faith is the answer. And if one faith is the answer, interfaith is even better. That’s why I’m on jolly, sorry, attending a conference in Singapore. This works because we people of faith have something called “compassion”. It was given to us by the 10th Guru.

The Invisible Magic Friend, via The Queen, will appoint a new Prime Minister today. The Invisible Magic Friend helps the poor, the sick and the downtrodden. Although, just as when he appoints a Prime Minister, he does it through people. In fact he always does everything through people. And it’s through Lizz Truss that he’s chosen to help the poor, the sick and the downtrodden.
