The Big Book of Magic Stuff doesn’t say we should enjoy art for art’s sake, but it definitely meant to. It just didn’t have enough room in its 1000+ pages.

Just look at the playful god of Genesis, with his perpetually inherited original sin and worldwide flood. He’s a real artist.
