Outstandingly Reverend Doctor David Walker, Bishop of Manchester
Many of you, who are not bishops, will have very dull, pointless, mind numbingly boring jobs. Your dreams have been abandoned, your ambitions crushed and you long ago reconciled yourself to a life of meaningless drudgery. Happy New Year.
Just remember this, no matter how insignificant your job, if you do it for the greater glory of my Invisible Magic Friend, then you will be able to endure it with pride.
