A right wing takeover in Germany has been averted and the last of the dam busters in dead. The right wing loonies had got caught up in a myth that was shattered when it hit reality. Thank the Invisible Magic Friend I don’t suffer from that.

At least the German numpties do have an actual former kingdom to construct their fantasies around, even though its future re-creation is an absurdity. All Baines has to fall back on is a raft of myths and legends; and, even so, he still thinks he’s making a significant point when he aligns himself with the Israelites fleeing from the Pharaoh.
Since that didn’t actually happen, any more than the rest of Biblical myths and legends, why does Baines think his “golden future” is any more likely than that of the German neo-Nazis?
