Music is in the news somewhere. Which brings me to Praising Him. You all know who Him is. Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him. Just Praise Him. Did I mention that you should Praise Him.

Sorry, I can’t let it be.
I’ve got a feeling this was meant for Saturday during Glastonbury to remind us that, although secular singing is ok, you must not forget that singing to praise the lord is the most important use of your musical self. Maybe I’m amazed that as usual it completely misses the point of the TFTD brief being about something in the news, but maybe not.
The End.

The IMF’s terribly needy, isn’t it? It demands not only single-minded allegiance from its followers, but continual praise from them as well. One might almost think it was suffering from uncertainty and lack of self-esteem. As well it might.
This sort of TftD always reminds me of a limerick (apologies if I’ve quoted it before):
There was an Old Man with a Beard
Who said “I demand to be feared!
So call Me your God,
And love Me, you sod!”
And Man did just that, which is weird.
