There’s been a record number of murders of young people by knives.
It’s time to stop talking and actually do something, like angels during Advent do.

The knife crime epidemic is a difficult and complex problem. There are many contributing factors, from gang culture to dysfunctional families to deep cuts in young people’s services. So when Rob Marshall declared so firmly that present policies weren’t working, I felt sure he would spell out the solution in clear, concrete terms.
I should have known better. All we got was a load of guff from some obscure theologian about the true meaning of ‘Do not be afraid’, followed by the familiar TftD cop-out: telling us that we are all responsible for doing something about the problem, but not telling us what that is. Nul points.

I’ve seen the Knife Angel – very impressive & chilling https://www.britishironworkcentre.co.uk/show-areas/the-knife-angel-official
Rev Rob would not have mentioned it if it were shaped like a demon or other non-holy thing.
